LBFE and Sleepy Hollow Nursing Home Host Cookout for Elders in Washington, D.C.

LBFE and Northrop Grumman Sponsor Washington, D.C. Celebrations

Thanks to a group of dedicated and hard-working volunteers led by John Henris and Taylor Kiland, LBFE has begun outreach to elderly in Washington, D.C. A special thanks to Northrop Grumman for their generous sponsorship of the celebrations in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. Elders Enjoy St. Patrick's Party at Sleepy Hollow

Following up on the success of the Christmas party, volunteers hosted a fun and well-attended St. Patrick's Party for elders at the Sleepy Hollow Nursing Home. Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal including Irish soda bread and green cookies. In addition, all of the guests received flowers, and a volunteer pianist entertained the crowd. LBFE looks forward to more outreach activities in Washington, D.C.
